Join us for our online, pre-event briefing, Understanding the challenge: an online pre-event briefing to give input into and learn more about the upcoming Thrive by Five Early Learning and Disability Symposium.
The event will be hosted by disability rights advocate Elly Desmarchelier. Together with special guests Griffin Longley (Thrive By Five), Gi Brown (youth advocate and person with lived experience), Penny Dakin (CEO, ARACY) and early childhood service directors Cass Duff and Jo Goulding, we will explore why Australia needs a more inclusive and universally accessible Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) system that supports children with disability and development delays and how we can make that happen.
We will also get your input and feedback on a declaration that we will be presenting to key politicians and political decision-makers, which will outline what we want to see happen, to ensure our early education and care system is inclusive of all children – including those with disability, neurodiverse profiles and developmental vulnerabilities.
This online pre-event briefing is an opportunity for attendees to listen to the speakers, ask questions, share their own experiences with the system and give feedback on the declaration.
