Over the weekend there has been some really exciting developments.
In NSW, the new Treasurer Matt Kean announced he would be prioritising early learning reform in his very first media interview since being appointed.
Federally, the Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education and Development Amanda Rishworth has expanded on Labor’s plan to offer higher childcare subsidies to more families. She is promising to implement a cross-government early years strategy if Labor wins next year’s election.
These are great steps forward.
Can you use this form to thank Amanda Rishworth and Matt Kean?
There’s no doubt our campaign is having real impact.
By thanking Matt and Amanda, we can help demonstrate to politicians that we care about their announcements. When they see the level of community support for high quality, universally accessible and affordable early learning and childcare they will be encouraged to keep going and push forward.
