What matters to women? Economic security, freedom from violence, quality early learning and more

I have read and agreed to the terms of the Privacy Policy, the Collection Statement and the website Terms and Conditions.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has been cancelled. We’ll be in touch with all registered attendees about future exciting events in the area.

Please join Thrive by Five, The Benevolent Society and Micah Projects for a free lunchtime women’s forum discussing what matters to women.

All across the country, women have been speaking about issues of equity, security and freedom from violence for decades. The mood for change has been growing and reached a roar with the Women’s Marches earlier this year. Now, our federal political leaders are holding a women’s summit at Parliament next month, and our Premiers and the Prime Ministers will be focussing on women’s economic security at the next National Cabinet. And at the top of the agenda is early learning and childcare reform.

It’s against this backdrop that we invite you to join us for lunch, and take the opportunity to share your experiences and the changes that matter to you.

Please join Thrive by Five CEO and former SA Premier Jay Weatherill, Director of Every Child Karen Struthers, ANROWS CEO Dr Heather Nancarrow, and three inspiring local advocates who work directly with women in the community.

Lunch as well as tea and coffee will be provided.

Tickets are strictly limited, so please register and secure your spot today.
