The momentum is on our side – and together we can make early learning and childcare high quality, universally accessible and affordable in Australia.

The Federal Government has made some huge steps in the right direction; it recently introduced the affordable childcare legislation and extended subsidised early learning  and childcare for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. But we know this these things alone will not address the crisis facing our early childhood education sector.

With the October Federal Budget just around the corner, Treasurer Jim Chalmers is in the process of determining funding allocation for different parts of the economy.
