Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this event has been cancelled. We’ll be in touch with all registered attendees about future exciting events in the area.

What do you want early learning & childcare to look like in Logan?

Australia’s early learning and childcare system is outdated and expensive. But the good news is we’re working together to change that.

With a high quality, universally accessible and affordable early learning system, our whole community can benefit.

Access to early learning opportunities not only gives children the foundational social, emotional and academic skills needed to thrive, it also eases the financial obstacles faced by families and enables parents to increase their engagement in the workforce.

Join Thrive by Five and Logan Together for a Q&A panel to have your say and help shape Australia’s future early learning and childcare system.

Facilitated by Matthew Cox (Director, Logan Together), the panel will include Jay Weatherill (CEO, Thrive by Five; Former South Australian Premier), Anne Hollonds (National Children’s Commissioner), Carrie Rose (Early Childhood Pedagogy consultant and Founder of Rosie’s Early Learning); Sahba Hamid (a member of the Refugee and Asylum Seeker Early Childhood at Access Community Services) and Andrew Barnes (Principal, Eagleby South State School).

This is your chance to be part of the discussion and ask questions! Bring your ideas, concerns and comments for your opportunity to help make early learning and childcare high quality, easily accessible and affordable.
