The early childhood education and care workforce is still in crisis.

Too many centres across the country are struggling to recruit and retain staff. Many have closed under the pressure, leaving families without access to the education and care they need.

Without better pay and improved working conditions and action to make sure there are enough early childhood educators to educate and care for children in the future, educators will continue to leave the industry in droves.

The sector can’t go on like this.
