2022 is going to be a defining year for early learning in Australia, with the Federal Budget and Federal Election set to take place within the next 3 months – two enormous opportunities for change.
And with COVID-19 creating a crisis in early learning, exacerbating workforce shortages, causing centre closures and leaving families scrambling to find adequate childcare so they can go to work, it’s more important than ever for decision makers to be taking up our call for reform.
That’s why we’re calling on the leaders of the major parties, Prime Minister Scott Morrison, Opposition leader Anthony Albanese and Greens leader Adam Bandt, to tell us what they’re doing to fix the early learning system.
