We know that the early years of a child’s development can affect their entire lives.

Accessible and inclusive early childhood experiences – play, learning, care, education, and development – are one of the surest and most sustainable pathways to an inclusive life and all the benefits that brings to the child, their family, peers, and their community.

That’s why we need to come together to call for an early learning system that can support children with disability and development needs from the get go and set them up for the rest of their lives.

Join us for the Thrive by Five Early Learning & Disability Symposium: The Life- Changing Impacts of Early Education for Children with Disability on Wednesday, 26 July at 11 AM – 2.00 PM AEST on Zoom (link provided upon registration).

You will hear from disability advocates, policy experts, academics First Nations people and services and young people with lived experience about the life changing impact of an inclusive, universal and high quality early childhood education for children with disability.

Speakers will present the latest research and case studies to highlight the crucial role played by early learning experiences in natural childhood settings for children with disability and how families, carers and early childhood educators can be supported to ensure every child can thrive by five and beyond.

The event will be hosted by disability rights advocate Elly Desmarchelier.

This event is your chance to be a part of the conversation that can shape the future of inclusive early childhood education and care.
